Executive Education

At the Logos Institute for Crisis Management and Executive Leadership, we help leaders and leadership teams enhance their ability to lead effectively.

We have led executive education programs in organization across industries and around the world. We have worked with hundreds of leadership teams, management teams, individual departments, and leaders and high-potential aspiring leaders across organizations to enhance their ability to communicate effectively, strengthen relationships with various stakeholder groups, and bolster their leadership.

Our executive education programs include classroom-style sessions ranging in size from 5 to 500, as well as team-building exercises and simulations on a variety of skills. We employ the most dynamic instructional methods, combined with the latest research from our idea laboratory, to provide a core grounding in best practices.

Our executive education programs are tailored to the individual needs of the client. We have led executive education programs focused on building a singular skill. We have also developed executive education curricula for teams and departments focused on a wider variety of connected skills that are essential for individual and collective success. The duration and intensity of our executive education curricula are designed based on the depth and level of skill desired.

Our clients tell us that the Logos way teaching is intellectually stimulating, emotionally resonant, immediately applicable, and foundational – allowing them to continue learning and applying our lessons long after the session's end.

  • Effective Engagement - In Person and Remotely
When delivering a high-stakes speech or presentation, the key is to appear calm and confident if you hope to resonate with your audience.
  • Deliver Outstanding Speeches and Executive Presentations
When delivering a high-stakes speech or presentation, the key is to appear calm and confident if you hope to resonate with your audience.
  • Press Interview Skills
There is an art and a science to navigating media interviews effectively. Too often, people speak with a reporter, are happy with the exchange at that moment, and then are confused and frustrated by the story that appears. We prepare our clients to engage effectively in any and every media interview to secure the right kind of story.
  • Effective Television Interviews and Performance
There is a skill to performing well on camera. Unlike print interviews, television and radio interviews have the added pressure of having to perform physically and audibly in way that translate as calm and confident. The challenge is that the camera distorts, so what feels calm and confident in person can come across as defensive, weak, nervous, scared or bored.
  • Crisis Management and Crisis Communication Skills
Crises are an inevitability for any business or organization. Though the nature of crises may be different, the competitive advantage that comes from being able to respond effectively to crises is consistent across the board. And the inability to respond to crises well can have significant, long-term negative consequences to your reputation and operations.
  • Communicating in a Crisis
When crises occur, the trust and confidence of those who matter most to your organization is on the line. Your ability to maintain or restore the trust and confidence of your stakeholders is essential to getting through a crisis well.
  • Critical Engagements Coaching and Preparation
When the stakes are high, your ability to perform and communicate effectively is crucial. We help people prepare for high-stakes interactions where their personal reputation and credibility are at stake. This includes preparing leaders for congressional testimony; presentations to boards of directors; delivering bad news to regulators, investors, employees, communities, and the general public; and high-stakes ceremonial events.
  • Communicate Strategically
Communication has power. Effective communication allows you to do more, better, faster and with few resources than you otherwise would be able to do. However, harnessing the power of communication to achieve your goals requires skill and strategic thinking.
  • Managing Meaning
When it comes to strategic communication, facts alone are rarely persuasive. And the same facts shared differently can lead people to dramatically different conclusions. That is where framing comes in.
  • Persuasive Storytelling
Stories are powerful carriers of meaning and tools for persuasion. We think in stories. Stories resonate with us. However, there is an art and a science to telling stories effectively.
  • Intensive Media Skills Coaching
This multi-day intensive coaching is designed to help people with little prior media skills who are appointed head of corporate communication or primary press spokesperson, especially in an ongoing crisis. We have designed these intensive programs to help new media spokespeople quickly master the skills necessary to be effective in their job. We have also developed similar programs for entire public relations departments.
  • Navigating Difficult Conversations
Difficult conversations happen all the time, in our personal and our professional lives. Our ability to effectively navigate these conversations can have a disproportionate impact on our life.
  • Assessment and Skill Development of Corporate Communication Departments
We craft customized assessments and learning and development programs for heads of corporate communication and related departments whose primary work product is communication, and for public relations firms.

Certificate Programs

The Logos Institute for Crisis Management and Executive Leadership also offers certificate programs on a variety of topics.

Each certificate program offers three levels of engagement, differing in duration, depth, and intensity. The first level is designed to build awareness of foundational skills in the given subject. The second level is designed to help participants attain a fluency of skills in the subject area. The third and most intensive level of a certificate program is designed to help participants achieve a high-level mastery of skills in the subject.

Each level of certificate program includes at least one assessment with opportunities for direct coaching and feedback to strengthen participants’ skills. Upon successful completion of a certificate program, participants receive a Certificate of Completion with a credential, attesting the participant’s level of proficiency in a given subject.

Logos Institute’s certificate programs are high-touch and tailored to specific needs of the client, enabling a high-level of learning and skill-building within a clear and proven structure designed to help leaders and teams take their skills to the next level.
